What sanctions lists are supported?

OFAC SDN (US Treasury), OFAC Consolidated, EU Consolidated, UK OFSI and UN Security Council Consolidated lists. Updated daily via GitHub Actions cron at 01:00 UTC.

What is PEP screening?

Politically Exposed Person — heads of state, ministers, parliamentarians, judges, SOE executives, senior military. Screened against WikiData + OpenSanctions PEP sources.

How accurate is the fuzzy matching?

We use Jaro-Winkler + token similarity + Levenshtein. Handles Cyrillic transliteration, legal suffix stripping, and name order variations. Threshold is 0.82 by default — adjustable per request.

Is there a free tier?

Yes. 5 checks per day, all sanctions lists. No credit card required.
