HS Codes Classifier is an independently operated service providing AI-powered HS (Harmonized System) code classification. The Service is operated by Oleksandr Loboda, a sole proprietor based in Ukraine.

2. Information We Collect

When you use the Service, we may collect:

Product descriptions you submit for classification (processed in real-time, cached for 30 days)
API usage metadata (timestamps, IP addresses, user agents — for rate limiting and abuse prevention)
Payment information (handled by Suby — we do not store credit card or crypto wallet data)

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

Provide the classification service
Improve accuracy and performance
Prevent abuse and enforce rate limits
Respond to support requests

4. Google Sheets Add-on

Our Google Sheets add-on accesses only the current spreadsheet (scope: spreadsheets.currentonly) and does not read or modify any other files in your Google Drive. Product descriptions entered in your spreadsheet are sent to our API for classification and cached for 30 days.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share information only with:

OpenAI (product descriptions sent for classification)
Cloudflare (hosting infrastructure)
Suby (payment processing)

6. Data Retention

Product descriptions are cached for 30 days, then automatically deleted. API logs are retained for 90 days.

7. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your data by emailing [email protected].

8. Changes to Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.
